I know this sounds gross, but each time you have a bowel movement it is highly probable that you are leaving bacteria along the outer rectal area, which is completely natural. However, if you have an existing case of hemorrhoids, this bacteria could possible infect your hemroid. Ouch! When this happens you have an aggravated hemorrhoid which isn’t fun to deal with!

I personally like the Cottonelle Fresh Folded (flushable) Moist Wipes because of the added Aloe & Vitamen E which helps sooth your bottom even more. Altrenatively, you could simply moisten a piece of toilet paper with warm water, but to me that seems like a big hassle.
